Police continue investigation in fatal crash

On Friday, June 30, 2023, at 2:46 am, Hudson’s Hope RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle crash. A vehicle travelling along Canyon drive, failed to negotiate a turn and went into a ditch.

Upon police arrival it is discovered that one person, an 18-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle, and three other people at the crash scene with non-life-threatening injuries. Sadly, the man was pronounced deceased.

Police continue the investigation and look to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or saw the Ford pickup prior to the crash. Police believe speed and alcohol to be contributing factors in this fatal crash.
