On behalf of the Cops for Kids Ride Captain, Julio Krenz, the media are invited to attend the annual Cops for Kids Ride Send-Off. Dignitaries, RCMP leadership and the Cops for Kids cycling team will be in attendance as the team leaves on the 10-day cycle tour throughout southeastern BC from September 8-17, 2023. This charitable event is in its’ 23rd year and has raised millions of dollars for deserving children in the region.
The Cops for Kids Ride will depart the Sandman Hotel at approximately 8:00am after a few short speeches. Riders and special guests will be available for interviews and photos from 7:00am-7:30am only, at the Sandman Hotel in Kelowna. Any media outlets unable to attend from 7:00-7:30am may catch the team at their first stop downtown Peachland at 9:30am in front of the Gasthaus Restaurant.
